Open Meta City Participates in Fintech and Blockchain Business Ecosystem Seminar on Technology Convergence

[Blockchaintoday Reporter Jang Myungkwan] On December 8, 2023, Open Meta City's CEO, Heejong Park, attended as a speaker at the 'Fintech & Blockchain Business and Technology Convergence Ecosystem Seminar', hosted by the Seoul Fintech Lab under the auspices of the Seoul Metropolitan Government.  This seminar was a gathering of leaders in the blockchain industry, including FintechToday, Digital Asset, BlockOdyssey, CubeChain, Financial Payment Service, PayGate, and IPShop.
 

Mr. Park focused his presentation on Open Meta City's innovative real estate tokenization service, which digitizes Real World Assets (RWA), attracting significant attention in the blockchain industry.  He also shared the business model of Open Meta City, which is currently implementing a roadmap aimed at mass adoption.

Open Meta City is a global service project encompassing NFT marketplaces, metaverse, and community services, with a focus on converting real-world assets into digital assets.  The project's growth strategy, especially based on users with real estate experience in the metaverse, is noteworthy.  Open Meta City has partnered in a Web3.0 ecosystem called The Balance, involving seven companies, including Lambda256, LG Uplus, and Kakao Enterprise.
 

Additionally, Open Meta City is actively developing various projects to strengthen the connection between RWA and real estate and luxury brands in both domestic and international markets.  In Korea, the focus is on complying with STO regulatory guidelines and protecting investors, while exploring new opportunities for business expansion through regulatory sandboxes.  Internationally, the company is actively pursuing partnerships with major projects, especially in the DeFi market centered around U.S. Treasury bonds, in collaboration with various foundations, drawing significant industry attention.
